There are plenty of places you can grab a rod and head to the bay here in south Texas. In this case, Marcos and Dad Gabriel Garcia headed out to El Campo, TX to do some fishing for his birthday. Well we can bet that Marcos had a heck of a birthday.
Thats the beautiful thing about Texas and its many places to fish. Bass was on the menu for dinner over at the Garcia residence in San Antonio, TX where they reside. Trout, Red Fish, Flounder, Shark, Tuna and others were probably served as well across the state from waters right in our back yard!
It’s good to see kids like Marcos Garcia grab a rod and have this much fun with his Dad. Now a days, kids don’t leave the house because they are glued to the t.v. playing video games and what not. It is important that parents encourage their kids to enjoy life outside. I remember playing baseball with a broom stick and a tennis ball. I tell you those were the best days of our child hood. Finish playong ball and shower up to mom’s homecooked flour tortillas! mmmhmmmmm. Well, it would be nice to see the youth involved in the outsdoors whether it be fishing or hunting or just plane old getting outside and playing.
