The island is open! So now what? I’m sure people have been finding any excuse to get out of the house and travel even if it is the the beautiful South Padre Island. But is it safe? That question can be answered in many ways. To many of us the answer is no just as it is not safe to randomly go anywhere there will be big crowds. But then again to many it is perfectly safe. Some rules are in place of course.

Governor’s Report
As most have us have seen, the Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced Monday that the stay at home order for the lone star state will expire this Thursday. Starting Friday apparently businesses like retail stores, malls, and restaurants will reopen with limits on occupancy of 25%. Other businesses will be on standby such as barbershops, beauty salons, gyms and bars until around mid May is what he anticipated.
Again, whether or not this is the best plan, all we can tell you is to play it safe if you plan on going to public places. Protecting yourself and your loved ones is the most important thing. Just remember, the beach is not going anywhere. It will be waiting right where its at just for you!
Saludos my friends!
